HONEY COCOON looks closely related to Cardi Cocoon at first sight, but the design of Honey Cocoon comes from a desire to have a cardigan in my wardrobe with a different fit.

The construction is different in several key ways. Cardi Cocoon is based on a kimono-inspired silhouette and has a simple and straight shape. Honey Cocoon, on the other hand, is designed with a narrower neckline and more defined shoulders, resulting in the yoke section of the two fronts having a more inward-sloping angle.
On top of this, Honey Cocoon also shares several distinct details with Honey Jacket. The pattern is written in six sizes.

HONEY COCOON is worked seamlessly from the top down.
First, the neck edge for the back of the neck is worked, and then the back section of the yoke is worked. After this, stitches are picked up along the back shoulders for the front sections of the yoke. The back and fronts are joined at the bottom of the armholes, and the body is worked back and forth across all stitches to the hem. Finally, stitches are picked up and knitted along the armholes for the sleeves, which are worked in the round to the cuffs.
