PATTERN NOTES
The Hofgarten Shawl is a celebration of texture, color, and graceful shaping — a piece as charming and inviting as the Munich garden it’s named after. Designed especially for the Munich Knits, this shawl was an incredible honor and a true joy to create.

Worked in three colors of fingering weight yarn, “Hofgarten” combines classic and modern techniques into a fluid crescent shape that drapes beautifully around the shoulders. The design flows through relaxing garter stitch, simple brioche, playful short rows, and delicate feather and fan — each section adding a unique rhythm and visual interest to your knitting journey.

Whether you’re strolling through blooming gardens or cozying up with your yarn at home, this shawl invites you to enjoy the artistry of stitches and color in motion.
