GAUGE
17 sts and 22 rows = 4” in 2x2 rib on larger needles, blocked slightly stretched so that the fabric lays flat.

NOTES
After split hem, vest is worked in the round from lower edge to armhole. Fronts and back are worked separately and seamed at the shoulders. Correct row gauge is important in this pattern. Swatch in chart 2 is recommended.
