Have you heard about the Onesiegurumi’s? It’s a complete new way of making amigurumi’s that doesn’t require any sewing! You’ll crochet all the parts together, in one piece, as you go. Pattern comes with lots of picture and step-by-step instructions.

Level: intermediate.

Materials:
For a large hippo (±18cm/7in):
-Dk weight yarn. I used Borgo de Pazzi Amore cotton 170 (1 ball of 170m/100g is enough) in: lilac #124
-Grey/blue and black safety eyes 12mm
-Crochet hook 4mm
-Fiberfill stuffing
-Needle and scissors

For a small hippo (±11.5cm/5.1in):
-Fingering weight yarn. I used Scheepjes Catona (1 ball of 125m/50g is enough) in: grey #074
-Grey/Blue and black safety eyes 8mm
-Crochet hook 2,5mm
-Fiberfill stuffing
-Needle and scissors
