High Mountain Shawl
Inspired by mountain peaks, this drapey, semi circular shawl is a study in short rows. Knit side to side with short row shaping and increases and decreases and alternating stripes, it’ll keep you engaged from beginning to end and is a great way to highlight two of your favorite colors.
Yarn: 2 colors of fingering weight yarn, approx 100g/400 yards of C1 and 85g/325 yards of C2. Shown in The Plucky Knitter, Primo Fingering, 75% SW Merino, 20% Cashmere, 5% Nylon. C1 - Reno Night Lights, C2 - Buzz Lighter.
Size: One size - 54 inch wingspan by 22 inch depth.
Needles: US size 5/3.75mm, 24 inches or longer circulars.
Notions: Tapestry needle.
Gauge: 20 stitches by 28 rows is 4 inches in stockinette on US size 5/3.75mm needles
