Summer sweaters are such an underrated wardrobe staple, don’t you think? Just because the weather is warm outside doesn’t mean that it isn’t freezing inside, and just because it’s freezing inside doesn’t mean you want to wear your heavy fall and winter knits. Hideaway to the rescue!

Hideaway is knit with DK weight yarn for just the right amount of warmth, and has an all-over eyelet pattern and 3/4 sleeves so you don’t overheat. It’s breezy and playful and knits up fast- you can totally cast on now and be wearing yours all summer long.

This sweater is knit seamlessly in the round from the bottom hem. After the splitting for the sleeves the back and fronts are worked separately, and the live stitches are grafted together at the shoulder. The sleeves are then picked up, and the sleeves worked in the round from the shoulder to the cuffs.
