This classic granny square blanket was inspired by a blanket in our shop crocheted by Gail’s Grandmother Helen in the 1920s.

The use of the granny square style motif has been around since at least the late 1800s, an example of the motif was published as an engraving in “The Art of Crocheting” by the Butterick Publishing Co in 1891.

• Worsted weight

• DK weight

• Fingering weight worked double stranded

• Fingering or sock weight
