Heather is a Faroese style shawl, knitted from the neck down to the bottom edge. The pattern is based on the “Beautiful Pattern for a Scarf” from the 1846 knitting book Exercises in Knitting by Cornelia Mee.

The beauty of Heather is that it can be made with almost every weight of yarn. However, because of that the amount of yarn needed can be a bit more challenging to predict.

A fun and not too hard lace knit.
