Hardknott Socks
A straightforward toe-up sock with a simple but effective central cable, reminiscent of traditional celtic knotwork.
The celtic-style cable winds its way up the sock in much the same way as Hardknott Pass twists and turns its way through the mountains.
Knit in a superwash sock yarn, this sock is sized in two sizes - adult male (UK size 10) and adult female (UK size 6).
Hardknott Pass itself is a high, winding mountain road which connects the Duddon valley to Eskdale. Featuring steep hairpin turns and gradients of 1 in 3, it is one of England’s steepest roads. Not for the faint of heart, but those brave souls who venture across are rewarded with stunning scenery and a sense of exhilaration.
