Happy Little Trees Socks
These are the perfect socks to wear when tromping through the woods, looking for a place to set up your easel. Inspired by Bob Ross’s happy little trees, these socks feature cabled pine trees, a slip-stitch heel, and stretchy ribbing to keep your feet happy.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Notions: stitch markers (3), tapestry needle
Sizing
Leg Circumference: 5.5 (6.5, 7.5, 8.75, 9.75)” / 14 (16.5, 19, 22, 25) cm, unstretched
Foot Circumference: 6 (7, 8, 9, 10)” / 15 (18, 20.5, 23, 25.5) cm
Socks are sized for four foot lengths: 1, 2, 3, and 4. Foot length is further adjustable within each size range by working fewer or more rounds at the toe.
To fit foot lengths: 7.5-8.25 (8.5-9.5, 9.75-10.75, 11-12)” / 19-21 (22-24, 25-27, 28-30.5) cm long.
Finished foot length measurement (measured from corner of heel to tip of toe): 7.5 (8.5, 9.75, 11)” / 19 (22, 25, 28) cm; although this can be altered by working fewer or more rounds at toe (as directed within pattern). If having trouble choosing between two foot-length sizes, pick the shorter one; extra length can always be added to the toe if needed.
