Happy Helix the Hat
by Danna Rachel
What are more fun than stripes? Knitting a helix in the round is like magic – seamless, perfect stripes with no jog, no twisting yarn. Just perfect mini-stripes as far as the eye can see. Happy Helix the Hat uses this mystical helix technique to make a fun, quick, colorful hat!
Happy Helix needs less than 50g of worsted weight yarn and is a great project for using up scraps.
The helix knitting technique is explained in detail, including instructions for 2-4 colors.
For hints and tricks to help your Helix, check the Knit Knerd blog.
