Join our MCAL with our Happy Cat Square 1!

This Square features a Turkish Van Cat. Our neighbor’s playful cat, Toby, is the inspiration for this Square.

Our 2024 Happy Cats MCAL includes a Quilt style Afghan with 9 sweet Cats and a Matching Pillow.

With my specially developed method for single crochet Color-change, your crochet stitches will have smoother edges and be more symmetrical for a pleasing finished look.

Square 1 is crocheted with an H hook and Worsted Weight yarns:
180 yards for Background and border
110 yards White for Cat and border
18 yards Gold
2 yards Dark Gray
1 yard Pink

This is the first of our Happy Cat Afghan Squares. A new Square will be revealed every third Tuesday, through July 30, 2024.
