Hanna Mitts
Norwegian fingerless mitts. Traditional with a twist.
Knit in the round on dpns, flexiflips. Traditional Norwegian gusset. Colorwork heart motif on the back of the hand and geometric flowers on the palm. There’s a sweet flower on each thumb. This pattern has hearts ( symbolizing love and courage) and the hearts are surrounded by the sign for infinity. The cuff is covered with snowflakes and the palm is covered with a geometric flower pattern.

Women’s size: One size fits most
2 pairs of mitts can be made from 2 skeins of Tukuwool Fingering. You can make a pair for you and a pair for a friend. Knit. Gift. Love.
When I gift these mitts, I don’t wrap them, they are too beautiful to wrap. I tie a lovely ribbon around them, and gift right away or place under the tree. I often give mitts the moment I finish them. I figure if it’s cold outside, then the mitts should be put to use right away.
