This is a quick-to-make heart motif that is shaped with increasing and decreasing. Two pieces are joined with double crochet (US single crochet) and stuffed as you join, with a pretty picot, trim worked on the final round.

To crochet a heart from my pattern you will need:

1. Oddments of 4ply (fingering) yarn. Only small amounts are needed for each heart (approximately 8-10g).
2. US C/2 hook or UK 2.5mm.
3. Small amount of toy filling.
4. Short lengths of ribbon or cord for a hanging heart, and a small bead.
5. Yarn needle and scissors
