Hafgufa Mittens
“Below the thunders of the upper deep;
Far, far beneath in the abysmal sea,
His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth…” Tennyson
Hafgufa was the Icelandic name for an ancient sea monster, which many believe to be the Kraken. It uses five gradient shades of blue to depict the ocean depths, but you may wish to choose a self-striping or gradient yarn instead.
