Gumdrop Top
Perfect for spring, the Gumdrop Top is sure to add a bit of pizzazz to your wardrobe. This modern top features drop sleeves and a fun graphic detail on the front and back. We love the peek-a-boo shoulders, but if drop sleeves and open shoulders aren’t your thing, no problem! The applied edging around the armhole is added before attaching the sleeves, so you can omit the sleeves for an equally adorable tank. Knit in soft, supple Donnina, this is a lightweight top that’s simply irresistible.

PATTERN NOTES
This top is knit in pieces flat and seamed. The sleeves are joined to the body at the underarms only during finishing, after the armhole edging is applied. Alternatively, if you prefer a sleeveless top you can simply omit the sleeves. Stitches for the neck edging are picked up and worked in the round.
This sweater is worked using intarsia. When changing to a new color, bring the old color up and around the new color to prevent any holes from forming in the piece. Use a separate ball of yarn for each section. Please note that there are not written instructions for the intarsia chart.
