Green Apple Leaf Counterpane Shawl
-
The Green Apple Leaf Shawl was inspired by a rectangular counterpane originally shown in Butterick Publishing’s 1897 Fancy and Practical Knitting.
-
Shawl is knit in one piece from the top down. Edging is knit separately, side-to-side, then sewn onto the shawl.
-
Markers are used to separate the individual counterpanes. one counterpane pattern is repeated five times to produce the body of the shawl.
