Toe-Up! Patterns & Worksheets to Whip Your Sock Knitting Into Shape

Great Plains
This pattern was inspired by Buffalo Gold’s incredible buffalo-down sock yarn, which knit into a sock that I find extremely hard to take off - it is incredibly soft and decadent. Due to its fuzziness and natural dark brown color, this yarn can be a bit challenging to design with. I chose a stitch pattern utilizing twisted stitches, smocking and eyelets that interplays nicely with the rustic character of the yarn. Choose a lighter-colored sport-weight yarn to make the textures really pop.
