This pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up. Body and sleeves have ribbing at the waist, wrist, and neck. The collar is crewneck and the rest is stockinette. The sleeves are a nice raglan style. It works up quickly. The difference in sizes is achieved by using larger or smaller weights of yarn and needles.

For instance: small size (6 - 12 months) is accomplished by using size US3/3.25mm circular needles in 16”/40cm length and a set of double pointed needles of the same size. Medium size (18 - 24 months) uses size US 5/3.75mm circular needles in 16”/40cm length and a set of four double pointed needles of the same size. Large size (3 - 4 years) uses the same length of circular and double points in size US7/4.5mm. Large size uses worsted weight yarn. Medium size uses dk yarn and small size uses fingering weight.

All use the same set of directions, same stitch counts, etc. Easy peasy! Yarn weight and needle size listed on the pattern specs are only for size 3 - 4 years. Use the sizes listed on the pattern itself for the supplies for all of the sizes.
