This is a crochet pattern for a mat with a star motif made using tapestry crochet.

It makes a great gift and looks fab with a pot plant on it.

The finished mat, made with cotton DK yarn, measures approximately 20 cm across.

However, you could use a different yarn thickness such as 4-ply or aran for a smaller or larger mat. You could also add extra rounds to make it larger, should you wish.
