This video tutorial shows you how to crochet a granny heart using a granny square as the base. The written pattern is in the description below the video.

You can use any yarn and your preferred hook for this pattern. I used Big Twist Value yarn, a medium (#4/aran) weight yarn and a US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook. My version is about 3” (7.5 cm) from tip to center of the bumps and used approximately 30 yd (27.5 m) of yarn.
