This little mascot doll would make a thoughtful graduation gift for students of any age
Personalising your doll is easy to do, by changing the colours. of the gown and stole. The stole can be worn as shown with the “V” to the front or reversed. Making up instructions include changes to the gown length to make your doll a boy or a girl Bitsy baby
Bitsy doll bodies and heads are knitted in one piece and after seaming and stuffing the legs are created by sewing a seam through from front to back to divide the legs. The arms and clothes are knitted separately and are sewn on when making up these cute little characters.
This pattern is suitable for confident beginners- The doll and clothes are knitted flat and use basic shaping.
Size-14cm /5.5” tall
Check the recommended needle size for your yarn and use a needle 1 size smaller.
This will give a close textured stocking stitch which will hold its shape well when stuffed
Recommended yarn: - Paintbox Yarns Simply DK - 10g Mini Ball Or Stylecraft Special Knit DK
Needle size- 3.5mm (UK 11 /US 2)
Tension - 20sts x 26 rows = 10cm (4”) st.st. Square
