Grace
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Chest: 3436, 38, 42 inches
Length: 17.518, 19, 20.5 inches
In Annie [the movie musical] circa 1982, Grace Farrell partakes in the song and dance number "We got Annie!" wearing a pale yellow, silk chiffon 1930s dress that makes me swoon. Grace, indeed. This was my inspiration.
This is straightforward knitting in stockinette stitch with simple increases and decreases. Sport-weight mohair knits up a bit sheer on size 7 needles, and can be worn with a lining of some sort. And if you prefer a less-cropped look, this sweater is easily lengthened at the waist. Get ready to sing and dance.
I doubt the availablity of the yarn I used outside Japan. As a substitute, I recomend GGH Kid Soft Yarn (70% Super Kid Mohair; 25% Nylon; 5% Wool) or Rowan Kidsilk Haze (70% Super Kid mohair 30% Silk). Both come in a great selection of colors.
