Goodwin
Goodwin is a triangular shawl knitted from the top down in a stunning lace pattern, that seems very intricate but is surprisingly easy to knit! The stockinette pattern around the spine adds some extra spice, and before you know it you will be knitting a squishy garter border to frame the shawl.
The shawl can be knitted in a great variety of yarns and yarn weights, even lace weights have worked very well and produced a smaller shawl that is easy to wear for a touch of lace in an outfit.
Yarn: Baa Ram Ewe Winterburn DK, 50% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% ecru Masham, 25% dark brown Masham, 230 m/ 252 yards per 100 g
Yardage for sample: approx. 720 m / 787 yards, 4 skeins
You may substitute with any dk weight yarn that knits up to gauge. Please keep in mind that differences in gauge affect yardage; so make sure you have enough yarn to finish your project.
You will need more yarn if you wish to make this shawl in a larger size, yardage given is for the sample size.
