The Golden Touch shawl is a one-skein wonder that radiates simple elegance. This shawl pattern is ideal for the adventurous beginner looking to add a touch of sparkle to their knitting.

The pattern begins with a body of smooth stockinette, before a strip of textured garter stitch leads into square bullions along the border. Each bullion-inspired motif is adorned with four beads in a diamond shape, adding just the right amount of sparkle without overwhelming the simplicity of the design.

New to beading? Golden Touch introduces beading in the gentlest way: no special tools required, just a crochet hook and a sense of adventure. A video tutorial on how to add the beads with a crochet hook is linked in the pattern.

Whether you choose a golden yarn to echo its name or a deep jewel tone for contrast, this shawl is a celebration of richness of colour and texture. Lightweight yet luxurious, it drapes beautifully around the shoulders, making it ideal for gifting or keeping as your own piece of knitted treasure.

This pattern has been tech edited and test knitted prior to publication. The pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
