The Golden Rays cowl is inspired by Scottish sunlight during autumn. As low golden rays shine through breaks in the grey cloud cover, the straight beams of light become almost geometric. There’s nothing more magical than those lines of sunlight streaming through the turning leaves on a crisp autumn morning.

The Golden Rays cowl is a colourwork cowl knit in the round using a longtail cast on and stretchy cast off. It can be knit in a shorter size to be closer to the neck or a longer size to wrap around twice.

The sample was knit in Rowan Felted Tweed in Alabaster and Turquoise, gauge can be achieved with both 4ply and DK yarn.
