Gingerbread Bunting
These cute and simple-to-knit little gingerbread people are perfect for decorations. You could string them together to make bunting or hang them separately.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES 
The Gingerbread People are knitted in one piece, beginning with each leg and finishing at the head. Instructions are given for the little scarf also. Decoration is added after knitting (in back stitch and regular stitching) and full instructions are given for this too!
YARN 
Aran/worsted weight yarn in the following amounts for 3 in total: 
MC: 25 g (approx. 50 m) 
CC1: 5 g (approx. 10 m) 
CC2: 2.5 g (approx. 5 m)
Sample knitted in Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted (worsted weight; 200 m / 219 yds per 100g ball; 
100% wool) 
MC: Rust 106 
CC1: Rich Red 124

NEEDLES & NOTIONS 
4.00 mm / US 6 straight needles 
Lockable stitch marker or safety pin 
Tapestry needle 
4 small felt balls (for bunting) 
1 m of sparkly yarn or thin ribbon 
Large headed pins (optional)
GAUGE 
Gauge isn’t important for this project, although a difference in gauge will affect how much yarn is used. 
20 sts x 36 rows = 10 cm / 4” measured over garter stitch
SIZES 
Each gingerbread person measures approx. 14 cm high
