Garter Smidgen
This pattern was inspired by beautiful yarn and a desire to simply have a relaxing knit. It’s a small little something, a smidgen, that you can use to show off a couple of special half skeins. Maybe you have approximately half of a skein or two left over. Maybe some mini skeins that have been waiting for the right pattern. Either way, it’s a quick knit that isn’t too challenging so that you can sit back and enjoy the ride. This is the second in a series of patterns dedicated to just this scenario. Check out Linen Smidgen here.
Details: This crescent shawl is knit all in one piece. There are alternating panels of garter stitch and stockinette stitch. The shawl is designed to use up the amount of yarn that you have. It would be great for mini skeins and half skeins.
