Gabi Mohair has puff sleeves that just cover the elbow and is finished with an I-cord. It is knitted top down, in one piece. I have worked with 2 strands of silk mohair in almost the same colour. It gives a slightly melange effect, but you can also choose 2 strands of the same colour. Gabi Mohair is best suited for light and airy yarns, but it does not have to contain mohair, the most important is that the yarn has a long yardage.

Construction
First you work the top of the back section across the angled shoulders and a little bit of the back. Then, you pick up stitches for the front section along the angled shoulders on the back piece. Each shoulder is worked separately to leave an opening for the neck. The front section angled shoulders are shaped with short rows. Then you pick up sts for the top of the puff sleeve and then the sleeves, front section and back section are worked simultaneously in the round until the bottom of the arm hole. Then the body and sleeves are worked one at a time. To finish, stitches are picked up around the neckline to make the neck band.

Selecting your size
Gabi Mohair is intended to have a positive ease of 4-14 cm 1½ - 5½ inches depending on how loose fitting you would like. Here the blouse is shown with a positive ease of 14 cm 5½ inches, i.e. loose fitting. The length is measured in the middle of the back, including the neckband.
