The Gabi blouse with puff sleeves is suitable for most occasions! It is easy to knit as everything is worked in one piece and there is no seaming involved. Gabi is worked top down and the puff sleeves aren’t too big and wide – they only have a delicate puff!

Construction
First you work the top of the back section across the angled shoulders and a little bit of the back. Then, you pick up stitches for the front section along the angled shoulders on the back piece. Each shoulder is worked separately to leave an opening for the neck. The front section angled shoulders are shaped with short rows. Then you pick up sts for the top of the puff sleeve and then the sleeves, front section and back section are worked simultaneously in the round until the bottom of the arm hole. Then the body and sleeves are worked one at a time. To finish, stitches are picked up around the neckline to make the neck band. I have used a long-tail cast on for all cast-ons. All stitches are cast-off in knit and purl (i.e. knit sts are knitted, and purl sts are purled before casting off).

Selecting your size
Gabi blouse is intended to have a positive ease of 6-14 cm depending on how loose fitting you would like. Here the blouse is shown with a positive ease of 10 cm. The length is measured in the middle of the back, including the neckband.
