I made this wide rectangular scarf as a present for my sister in law. It used two of my favourite Estonian stitch patterns combined together.
Here I used a fairly chunky yarn and large needles but this garment would work well with a variety of yarns and needle sizes – you simply need to remember to add extra repeats as desired in the lace charts.
Both stitch patterns use a 10 + 17 stitch format so it is easy to adjust the sizing.
This garment would also be good for using up little left-overs from previous projects held together to give texture and colour.
Two thank yous - one to Jennie for test knitting this for me and the other to Linda who kindly modelled the garment.
