Frosted Counterpanes
From the pattern description:
“most of the hexagon is knit from the outside in using circular needle for most of the work. They knit up quickly and are very portable. The embroidery may look very intricate, but the only techniques used are chain stitch and lazy daisy.”
For this afghan, there are four charted designs. 32 hexagons are created, embroidered and then sewed together.
