The colors of Friesenblau (German for Friesian Blue, a specific shade of blue named after the Friesland region in the Netherlands) call to mind a summer’s day at the ocean, the beach, sunshine, shells, waves and village life at the coast.
The shape of the shawl is a long triangle, which makes it very wearable.
The colorful pattern is achieved with the help of slipped stitches, which means you only work with one color at a time.
Yardage:
- ca. 400 yards / 366m in the main color (light color)
- ca. 400 yards / 366 m in color B (blue)
- ca. 200 yards / 183 m in color C (brown)
Garnverbrauch:
- ca. 100g (366m) Garn in der Hauptfarbe (helle Farbe)
- ca. 100g (366m) Garn in Farbe B (blau)
- ca. 50g (183m) Garn in Farbe C (braun)
