The Friendship Kerchief is a celebration of community and crafting with good friends. A simple project made for gifting, use it to accessorize, keep cool on a sunny day, or keep warm on a chilly morning.

The kerchief is knit flat in two colors with i-cord edging. Playful stripes of ribbon eyelet stitch alternate with simple stockinette stripes. Judy’s magic cast-on creates a seamless i-cord cast-on. After gradually increasing for the first tie, rapid increases shape this classic triangle kerchief. After reaching the apex of the scarf, rapid decreases complete the triangle, and matching decreases shape the second tie. For a clean finish, the final i-cord stitches are grafted together at the tip.
