Fraser Fir Mittens
The Fraser Fir Mittens are inspired by winter evergreens and colorwork herringbone stitch. These mittens are stranded and worked in the round with a fun afterthought thumb.

DIFFICULTY Intermediate
FINISHED SIZE 7.5” hand circumference and 10.5” long.
YARN Harrisville Designs Shetland (100% pure virgin wool; 217 yd / 1.75 oz ): #56 jade (light green; MC) and #08 hemlock (dark green; CC), 1 skein each.
NEEDLES Size 3 (3.25 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Marker; waste yarn for provisional CO and thumb; tapestry needle.
GAUGE 30 sts and 36 rnds = 4″ in charted patt.
NOTES These mittens are worked in the round from the cuff up with waste yarn thumbs.
