Franz
Franz uses three yarns and is a study in how commercial or plied marls can be combined with solids and also how the relative weighting of colors in a marl change the look. The stitch pattern is a textured rib using sequence knitting.
The shape was inspired by the Woolfolk Design Team’s Grete, which is also a dickie with a very long front. When worn under a jacket, the dickie has the appearance of being a complete sweater and keeps your neck and chest perfectly warm.
The yarns are Woolfolk Tynd and Sno, which are identical except Tynd is a two-ply solid and Sno is a two-ply marl.
The size shown is a small and is 20” from neckline to front bottom. Make the front longer to accomodate larger / taller sizes.
The working yardage is 720-870 yards depending on the size.
