Fraise
by Lara Neel
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This is a ruffled collar or neckwarmer, pronounced “phrase”. It is a French word, which also means “strawberry”, and if I had known, I would have made my first one red. It also means a ruff or high collar, worn in the 16th century. Which is, basically, what seems to have been in the back of my mind when I was making it.
The website that previously hosted this has dropped all of my old patterns. They are currently unavailable, but I may reissue them at another time.
