Bring on the coldest days! Say goodbye to slippers and cold ankles with these cozy house socks. Toasty warm and quick-to-knit, these socks will become your go-to pattern for yourself, family and friends.

Identical cable patterns adorn the front and back of the sock leg and the top of the foot; this cable pattern blends into a more compact pattern for the heel flap and the transition between the top of the foot cable and the Garter stitch toe for a beautifully fluid cable design that is both interesting to knit and comfortable to wear. The sole is worked in Stockinette stitch; toe stitches are grafted.

Beginning with an Estonian Cast On (picture tutorial included in the pattern), socks are knit in the round, top down.

Cables are charted only.
