Forsa
In Shetland there are not many trees but you will find the tree motif in a lot of lace items from scarf to stoles and haps.
As it is one of my favourite motifs and I wanted to design a large asymmetrical shawl which featured the tree motif.
This is shawl is on a garter base making it a reversible shawl.
The pattern can also be altered to make it larger or smaller as desired or to the length of the yarn that you have.
Finished size:
Height 165cm/65in
Width 145cm/57in
Diagonal length 220cm/87in
