Foliole
Swirling like a single vine along a trellis, this boomerang shaped shawl sits nicely on the shoulders. A lofty chainette makes for a beautifully draping piece. This shawl is worked sideways, mostly in stockinette stitch with a regularly increasing and easy to memorize pattern. The edge is finished off with a fun to work lace pattern. The lace does occur on both right and wrong sides in part of this pattern. You may wish to place stitch markers between repeats to help keep track of this twelve-stitch repeat.
