From pattern description:
The crown top is worked sideways in rows and sewn into a ring, then stitches for the sides are picked up from the ring and worked downwards in the round.
Additional yarn information:
Colors of Euroflax Originals used in the book are #18.20 emerald, #18.45 violet, #18.35 mustard, and #18.27 crabapple blossom.
Additional Needle information:
The pattern recommends three needles:
a 16” circular in size 3
a 16” circular “one or 1 or 2 sizes smaller” (than the size 3)
and a set of 4 or 5 dpns in size 5.
Additional Gauge information:
23sts = 4” (10cm) and 8 ridges (16 rows) = 1” (2.5cm) in garter st on size 3 needles.
