Sprightly sprays of lace & cables traverse the circumference of Folant, rising from a ribbed brim to the starry crown like bunches of fragrant spruce tips. An engaging knit in springy Arbor or soft wool-cotton Dapple — work up a few trim beanies and extra-cozy watchcaps for gifting, then another with a pert pom-pom to match your new winter coat.

Please note: the stitch patterns used for this accessory include written as well as charted instructions.

Construction

  • Hat is worked circularly from the bottom up.
  • There are two length options for this hat: Beanie and Watchcap.

Finished Dimensions

Beanie (Watchcap)

  • 17½“/44.5 cm circumference; 7¼ (9¼)”/18.5 (23.5) cm length, wet blocked and unstretched
  • Note: Hat is sized to fit head sizes ranging from 20–221/2”/51–57 cm circumference. Stitch pattern used is quite stretchy. Although the unstretched dimensions for finished circumference given above appear small, the elasticity of the finished fabric will fit head sizes listed above.
