NEW RELEASE: The Filet Fusion Pocket Scarves pattern is 30% off through 3/16/25 MT. No code needed!

Do you love combining techniques? The Floral Fusion Scarf is a combination of interlocking filet crochet for the scarf and my corner-to-corner/filet crochet hybrid technique for the pocket fronts! Since interlocking crochet is created with two layers of crochet mesh that are interwoven, the layers are separated to create the pockets, then interwoven again to complete the scarves.

The scarf has a combination of flowers, butterflies and bees; the C2C/filet pockets have a coordinating popcorn flower design and a post stitch ribbing at the top; and each end has a fringe of flowers. It is worked in two pieces that are sewn together in the center. The small border on each side and the fringe at each end are added in the border round.

The Floral Fusion Scarf is one of four pocket scarves in the Filet Fusion Pocket Scarves set. The Snowflake, Hearts and Leafy Fusion Scarves are also included in the set.

This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as a design chart for reference. Since this interlocking filet crochet project contains many diagonals to create the design, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique. If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel! You can also read about it on my blog: Interlocking Filet Mesh with Diagonals!

You can also learn my C2C-filet hybrid technique on my YouTube Channel and read about it, and the various ways it is used, on my blog: Corner-to-Corner & Filet Crochet Hybrid Technique.
