Flop Top Cable Cap
Quick to knit with a “Ponytail Tassel”, floppy and warm. Use a soft, heavy worsted yarn with subtle color variations for a rich finished fabric.
Two sizes, the smaller size for kids and small adults, the larger for bigger heads.
Materials:
1 pair US Size 8 - 24 inch circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
1 darning needle,
1 cable needle
1 skein of Malabrigo Rios OR Manos del Uruguay Maxima OR
2 skein of Manos del Uruguay Wool Classica in color of your choice OR
(or (200, 210) yds of any heavy worsted weight yarn with a gauge of 4 - 4.5 sts per in.)
Hat Gauge:
17 sts = 4 inches in cable pattern when slightly stretched.
Finished Circumference = (19, 21) inches
