Floating Lattice Scarf
This luscious scarf uses two-color brioche with increases and decreases as well as two-color garter stitch. It’s the textural differences of these two stitch patterns that causes the lattice web to float above the garter stitch background.
It is a lovely stitch for scarves or blankets because both sides have a different appearance.
I highly recommend Lisa Souza’s Blue Faced Leicester Sport yarn. It is some of the soften wool I have handled recently. I used one entire skein of each color (380 yds), Light Color = Pez and Dark Color = Káanapali.
This is not a difficult scarf, in fact it is a fun knit, but I would advise you to be able to work two-color brioche before attempting it.
