This a bottom-up triangular shawl, worked in two sections. It has a lace section border with beads (optional) and a lace body with spine.
BEADS: (Optional) Size 6/0 Total of 668 beads.
(Beading wire method/crochet hook method. Beads were not prestrung.)
NOTIONS: 2 cable needles, 20 stitch markers (Optional)
Pattern Style: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.
Difficulty: Intermediate. This pattern is all lace, while the pattern is memorable, it requires a little concentration.
Yarn: This pattern is better suited for solid or tonal yarn to show off the detail of the lace. It may seem to get lost in a heavy variegated yarn.
If you are a loose knitter, please account for yardage on the high end of recommendations.
Notes from AnnieLon in the Group KAL/Discussion Thread.:
After chart 2 and the transition rows I used 39.6% of my yarn. After 1 repeat of chart 3…65.1% used After 2 repeats of chart 3…84.0% used After 3 repeats of chart 3…95.3% used so chart 4 will only take about 5% (4.7%) of your yarn
Thanks Annie! I appreciate your notes!
