This is not so much a set-in-stone pattern as it is a recipe for a knit skirt to fit the little girl in your life. The version shown was knit with sock yarn on US size 2/2.75 mm needles at a gauge of 7 stitches/inch to give a bit of drape. Yardage requirements and gauge will vary depending on the yarn and needles you choose.
Pattern includes a worksheet for calculations from a gauge swatch, and both written and charted directions for the lace edging.
SKILLS NEEDED
Casting on, knitting in the round, yarn overs and knit 2 together. Skirt is finished (as shown) with a sideways knit lace edging – pattern includes charted and written directions for the edging.
