Fleur de Sel
The term “fleur de sel” is so poetic, but in reality salt forms rectangular crystalline blocks, whether harvested from the earth or gathered from shallow ponds by the edge of the sea. This scarf combines the romance of fleur de sel in the pretty lace panels with the literal block structure of salt. Capped off with a lovely edging that is surprisingly easy to work, you will be ready to step out into the salty breeze in no time.
Sample shown measures 6 inches (15 cm) wide x 66 (167.5 cm) inches long and was knit with approximately 438 yds (400 m) Lang Filo.
