Popular from the 16th to 19th centuries, Flapdragon is a game where players grab raisins out of burning brandy and swallow them immediately.

Finished Measurements:
Small: Approximately 9-1/2” x 32-1/2” (24 cm x 83 cm)
Medium: Approximately 9-1/2” x 42” (24 cm x 107 cm)
Large: Approximately 9-1/2” x 49” (24 cm x 124 cm)

Yarn:
Small: 280 yards of aran weight yarn. Shown using Cephalopod Yarns Beastie 140 yards/114 g skein; 60% Merino, 30% Alpaca, 10% Silk. Colors: Snallygaster and Will ‘o the Wisp, 1 skein each.

Medium: 362 yards of aran weight yarn. Shown using Kismet Fiber Works Abundant Aran 181 yards/100 g skein; 80% wool, 10% nylon, 10% cashmere; color: Fresh, 2 skeins.

Large: 420 yards of aran weight yarn. Shown using Cephalopod Yarns Beastie 140 yards/114 g skein; 60% Merino, 30% Alpaca, 10% Silk. Colors: Kraken, Siren and Sasquatch, 1 skein each.

Gauge: 14 sts/18 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in pattern after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage.

Needles: US#9/5.5 mm straight or circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: Waste yarn, cable needle, crochet hook, tapestry needle and 3 stitch markers.
