If you’re knitting a pair of socks, you’ve got to go all-out! Wonderful eyelets, snazzy zig-zags… But don’t worry, even though the Flamingo Flamenco is an intermediate pattern, we’re sure you can easily find your groove with this one!
And as always, this delightful pattern comes in a range of sizes and options for cuff-down or toe-up, meaning you can easily work in your own style!
Here we’ve used the wonderful Tangled Love yarns from Turtlepurl Yarns and we just love it! What color would you pick for your new pair of “dancing shoes?”
Worked in the round, Flamingo Flamenco contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer.
